This beekeeping family integrates the different types of wax melters existing in the Spanish beekeeping market.
It is noteworthy that beeswax melts between 62 and 64ºC and that at a temperature of slightly less than 90º nosema and spores are neutralized, also that the wax sterilization is done between 120 to 130ºC for 30 minutes.
It should be noted that when the wax is heated above 85ºC it will begin to darken, that is, it will have a burnt appearance.
With the sterilization of the wax, any type of life or germ is eliminated, such as American foulbrood, etc. and a clean and healthy wax is ensured.
Take special care to put the wax at more than 180ºC since at this temperature the wax burns, especially at 204.4ºC which is the theoretical flash point of pure beeswax.
