New layens mid-rise linked transhumance model "La Malhete". 25mm thick pine wood. Treated with linseed oil.
Dadant rise with 7 frames of 48x17cm wired.
The great advantage of using this rear sight in the layens hive is that in an extractor they take two frames of the dadant rear sight per cage.
The dadant frames are turned 90º to the layens.
The layens hive with dadant soaring is called a mixed hive.
