This pollen trap has an anatomical folding mesh that makes the pollen grains fall into a collection box, without damaging the body, legs or wings of the bees.
On the sides of the pollen catcher there are two small holes so that the drones and the queen (to be fertilized) can get out.
The drawer is ventilated, allowing collected pollen to dry when possible.
It can be installed in all types of langstroth or dadant hives with a removable wooden or plastic base, it has projections to fit the hive entrance.
The plastic material is long lasting.
