Base cover designed for better wintering in the nicot total ventilation base.
It stands out because on the sides it has two perforated strips of 3.5 x 8 mm openings by 300 mm long that allow constant aeration of the hive.
Ideal for closing the nicot base in autumn winter, both in cold and temperate areas.
To evacuate any type of moisture present in the hive, you can drill 5 holes of 3.5mm diameter in the lid, 4 near the corners and one in the center.
Can also be attached to standard langstroth or dadant hive wood anti-varroa bases.
