This is a langstroth hive divider or diaphragm that is very useful as it has several uses.
It is like a plastic sheet in the shape of an adjustable square about 3-4mm thick.
Made of recycled brown plastic.
It has an excluding grid with an on-off position gate, very useful for isolating the queen.
It is designed in such a way that it can be modified in length and height by means of internal slides to adjust to all kinds of measurements and variations of langstroth type hives.

Its best use is to make the brood chamber of a nucleus or smaller hive in winter.
That a swarm can be confirmed in less space in winter and that it maintains its temperature saves food, prolongs the life of the queen, develops earlier in spring and is protected from moths, etc.

Ways of use:

• Confine the swarm in less space in the hive and to the most appropriate number of squares to maintain its optimal interior temperature.
• Block the queen in a required or desired number of squares.
• Block the workers from passing from one part of the hive to another.
