Langstroth insulating diaphragm or partition made entirely of EPS polystyrene with a density of 45 kg/m³ and a thickness of 25 millimeters.
It has great insulating power, greater than wood, both in situations of low and even high temperatures.

It is ideal for performing a hive reduction function, thus helping to effectively insulate and maintain the temperature, and to concentrate the nest in a smaller space, limiting its movements and, therefore, its energy expenditure.
Its main advantage is that it adapts the hive to the volume of bees existing at the time, requiring less effort to maintain the interior temperature of the colony, thus increasing its breeding capacity and production of honey and pollen for spring.

Advantages:

• It allows swarms to be made with a smaller number of bees.
• The hive develops more quickly, which can mean increased production.
• High temperature insulating power, the bees breed even in the first and last frame next to the Diaphragm(s).
