Complete mid-range beeswax rolling kit, designed to allow beekeepers to sterilise, melt, pre-roll and emboss their own wax through an organised and controlled process.

This set includes the four machines required to transform wax recovered from the apiary into embossed beeswax foundation sheets. It is particularly suitable for professional beekeepers, associations, cooperatives and beekeeping businesses wishing to process their own wax and control the complete production process.

The production line combines two stainless steel tanks for preparing the wax and two manually operated machines with 320 millimetre rollers for forming and embossing the sheets.

Working process with the kit:

• Sterilising: the sterilising tank heats the wax in a thermal oil bath and allows it to be processed at a higher temperature than in a conventional wax melter.
• Melting and temperature maintenance: the melting tank keeps the wax liquid and at a suitable temperature for the rolling process.
• Pre-rolling: the wax passes through the smooth rollers to produce a uniform strip and gradually adjust its thickness.
• Embossing: the wax strip is fed through the engraved rollers to form the cells and produce the embossed foundation sheet.

• Allows wax from the beekeeper’s own operation to be recovered and processed.

Operating recommendations:

• Always work with clean, filtered and properly prepared wax.
• Keep the wax at a stable temperature before feeding it into the pre-roller.
• Reduce the thickness of the wax strip gradually and avoid forcing the rollers in a single pass.
• Moisten or prepare the rollers using the usual release system to prevent the wax from sticking.
• Clean the machines after each working day and avoid tools that could scratch the rollers.
• Install the rolling machines on a strong, level and stable table or workbench.
• The thermal oil required for the sterilising tank is not included.
