The Kit 9 mid-range beeswax rolling system brings together the machinery required to sterilise, melt, pre-roll and emboss beeswax through an organised and controlled working process.

It is recommended for professional beekeepers, cooperatives and beekeeping businesses that want to produce their own wax foundation, reuse wax recovered from the apiary and maintain greater control over its origin, cleanliness and quality.

The kit combines a large sterilising tank, a melting tank for keeping the wax liquid and two manual machines: a smooth pre-roller for preparing the thickness and an engraved roller for forming the cell pattern.

How the equipment works:

• Recovered wax is placed in the 100-litre sterilising tank for the initial heat treatment.
• After treatment, the clean wax is transferred to the 30 kg melting tank.
• The melting tank melts the wax and keeps it liquid at a regulated temperature.
• The wax is prepared as blocks, sheets or strips suitable for the rollers.
• The smooth pre-roller gradually reduces the thickness and creates an even wax sheet.
• The smooth sheet is passed through the engraved rollers to form cells on both sides.
• The finished sheet is cut to the size required for the hive frames.

100-litre wax sterilising tank:

A cylindrical stainless-steel unit designed for treating substantial quantities of wax. It has a top lid, adjustable heating system, wax outlet and auxiliary connections for the water circuit.

30 kg wax melting tank:

A rectangular double-walled stainless-steel tank designed to be filled with water. The heating element warms the water surrounding the inner tank to provide even melting. The thermostat regulates the temperature and the lower valve provides controlled wax discharge.

Manual smooth-roller pre-roller:

It forms the wax into a smooth, even strip. The thickness is reduced gradually over several passes before the sheet is fed through the engraved rollers.

Manual engraved-roller laminator:

It embosses the cell pattern onto both sides of the wax sheet. Precision gears keep the rollers synchronised and produce a regular, parallel impression.
