The beekeeper's spur for gluing wax is a manual, classic and traditional tool since the beginning of the science of beekeeping, it is ideal for manually gluing and adhering wax sheets on the wires of the hive frames. The spur consists of two parts: the handle and the sprocket made of a copper alloy.
This tool is used by heating in the embers of a fire or by submerging the wheel in hot water and then going over the wax where the sheet rests on the wire, this work is a very manual and slow work and is good for small beekeepers .
This tool also exists in the electric spur option, but if you need speed to paste wax on the frames, the alternative and more efficient and comfortable option is a welding transformer for beekeeping wax .
