The electric beekeeping spur is used to glue wax to the wires of the frames, it is connected in single phase at 220 volts. The spur consists of three parts: the handle, the internal electrical resistance and the copper alloy sprocket. This tool works by means of an electrical resistance that heats the wheel and once hot it passes over the wax where the sheet rests on the wire, melting the wax on contact with the wire and remaining embedded when it cools. This tool, although it is electric, is very slow and is valid for small beekeepers, there is also this spur without electrical resistance , but if we need speed it is much faster for the job of welding the wax on the frames, aelectrical transformer .
