Wire tensioner frame of beehives made of plastic and sprockets an aluminum alloy. Very practical to tension the wires of the frames. With compression steel spring. The picture wire, whether galvanized or stainless steel, is placed 2 or 6 times through the picture frame with the holes previously made according to the type of picture (layens, langstroth, dadant, dadant alza, etc), then it is fixed to the two ends with a small lace that we have previously nailed to the frame of the painting. The two sprockets of the tensioner hug the wire and are pulled, with light pressure on the handles, along the wire of the frame. The appliance should adopt a slight inclination in the direction of traction, the handle and the wire form an angle of 80º. Thus the wire receives the waveform and its length is reduced until it reaches the correct tension. The wave shape of the wire prevents slipping on the wax sheet once it is welded. After this operation, the sheets can already be welded using a battery-powered electric welder (battery soldering wax clamps) or a 220-12v electric welder (transformer for welding wax). Other beekeepers use it simply to tighten it as pliers. Recommended for wire of small thickness Ø 0.4, Ø 0.45 and Ø 0.5mm.
