Tensioner for beehive square wire made of plastic material and with a set of resistant aluminum alloy sprockets.
The use of this beekeeping utensil consists of making the two pinions pass through the wire and in this way undulate the wire in a zig-zag shape, with this we get to stretch the wire and tighten it and in the same way increase the contact surface of the wire with the wax sheet and in this way we avoid less curving of the sheet with heat.
Very practical to tension the wires of the frames, with a plastic spring. Recommended only for fine wire Ø 0.4, Ø 0.45 and Ø 0.5mm.
