When working with drums or tanks without a bottom valve, extracting honey can become a challenge. Emptying these containers manually or tilting them is not only uncomfortable, but it can also jeopardize the hygiene of the product and the safety of the beekeeper.
This vertical screw pump is designed to do just that: extract honey directly from the bottom of tanks or drums without drainage, without having to tip them or handle them.
Its sturdy, vertical design allows it to plunge directly into the container and gently pump the honey without churning or damaging it, even if it is slightly crystallized or denser.
Why is it useful?Because it solves one of the critical issues in honey handling: transferring honey from large tanks or vats without a tap. With this pump, you can automate the process , save time, and reduce risks.
It is especially practical for dense honeys such as heather or holm oak, which require greater power to be pumped efficiently.
Thanks to its 2.2 kW motor with 380 Volt three-phase power supply , it is capable of moving a considerable volume of product, with a performance of between 1500 and 3000 liters per hour , depending on the density and temperature of the honey.
The internal auger rotates at 2800 rpm and allows easy connection of a Dn32 hose (1¼" or 5/4") to direct the flow towards filters, decanters or ripeners or packaging drums.
