EKO Dadant Langstroth Steam Wax Melter.

Steam wax melter for Dadant and Langstroth frames , a practical, compact and economical solution for recovering wax from cappings, old honeycombs and used frames without the need for large machines, direct fire or dependence on the sun.

This system combines a heat-resistant plastic melting box with an electric steam generator. Steam enters the box, heats the frames evenly, and melts the wax cleanly, separating it from honeycomb debris, propolis, and accumulated dirt.

It is a very interesting option for beekeepers with few hives, small apiaries or wax workshops who want to take advantage of their own beeswax in a simple, hygienic way and without complicating things with large boilers.

It's very easy to use: fill the generator's tank with water, plug it in, and the steam is piped through the hose to the melting box. The liquid wax sinks to the bottom and flows out through the lower opening, where it can be collected in a container or mold.

Unlike a solar wax melter, this steam wax melter can be used year-round, both indoors and outdoors, provided you work in a safe and well-ventilated area. Furthermore, because it uses steam, the wax melts more gently, reducing the risk of burning it or altering its natural color.

The housing is made of durable, lightweight technical plastic with good thermal insulation properties. This allows for better heat retention during operation, saving energy and making the equipment easier to handle after each work cycle.

In addition to melting the wax, the steam helps sanitize the frames , making subsequent cleaning easier and reducing traces of old wax, larvae, or impurities. Once the process is complete and the equipment has cooled, the dried residue is easily removed.
