Solar cerifier made with an outer body of high-density expanded polystyrene, a perforated stainless steel basket and a rod support, also made of stainless steel, the lid is made of cellular polycarbonate.
Designed for hobbyist beekeepers so that they can melt wax from old combs such as cappings or other usable wax waste at a reasonable price and in a sustainable and ecological and respectful way with the environment.
Expanded polystyrene is a light and resistant material with very good insulating properties to retain heat under the glass, it withstands temperature and resistance to the elements very well.

The lid is removable and is made with a frame also in expanded polystyrene and the glass in cellular polycarbonate all in one piece, the same body of the cerifier on the inside acts as a wax collecting tray.
This cerifier placed in the right place on a normal sunny day in Spain can reach temperatures in its interior greater than 100ºC, which melts the wax very well since it melts at about 65ºC.

The rod support has 15 degrees of inclination, but you can always put a wedge behind it in case it is necessary to tilt it more depending on the date of the year in which it is used.
The old combs are recommended to cut the wooden frame into pieces of about 10 centimeters wide and place them in the perforated tray, the wax contained in said combs will melt and drip to the wax collecting tray (which is the inside of the cerifier), the impurities will remain in the perforated basket.
