Lyson brand melter whose function is to melt the cappings and separate the honey and wax, (honey and molten wax are separated because of their different densities, the honey goes at the bottom and the molten wax at the top, the lower part is kept at 40ºC and the upper part at 80ºC).
The capping melter is a well-insulated, double-walled stainless steel vat measuring 990x490mm and 340mm high with an approximate weight of 60kg.
It has a total power of 2300 Watts: One at the bottom and one at the top under the lid, which can be controlled independently. This capping melter has a powerful fan inside the lid that ensures that the heat is quickly distributed throughout the vat, causing the honey to separate from the cappings quickly and gently.
Capping wax or frame wax is placed on the perforated base (up to 120kg of cappings / or the wax from 40 frames).
The bottom heater is set at 40°C, and the top heater is set at 80-100°C.
The wax begins to melt as the heavier honey flows to the bottom. First, the clean honey is extracted, followed by the liquid yellow wax.

In summary, this device can be used as a capping melter, a crystallized honey frame melter, an uncapping bucket, and a heated chamber for honey jars and buckets.
