Its function is to melt the covers and separate the honey and the wax, (the honey and the molten wax separate as their density is different, the honey goes below and the molten wax above, the lower part is kept at 40ºC and the upper part at 80 ° C).
The cover melter is a 990x490mm well insulated double wall stainless steel bucket with a height of 340mm with an approximate weight of 60kg.
It has two 2300 watt heating elements: one at the bottom and one at the top under the lid, which can be controlled independently. This cover melter has a powerful fan inside the lid that ensures that the heat is quickly distributed throughout the bucket, causing the honey to separate from the covers quickly and smoothly.
Cover or square wax is placed on the perforated base (up to 120 kg of covers / or the 40 square wax).
The bottom heater is set at 40ºC and the top heater at 80-100ºC.
The wax begins to melt as the heavier honey flows to the bottom. The clean honey is first extracted and then the liquid yellow wax.

In short, this device can be used as: Cover melter, melter for crystallized honey frames, uncapping tray, hot chamber for jars and honey buckets.
