With the semi-automatic artificial honeycomb embosser, the wax sheets produced in the sheeter are turned into honeycomb walls, and in the integrated cutter they are trimmed to length and width to length.
Width adjustment is done by sliding the circular blade, and the length can be chosen on a digital display.
After cutting, the honeycomb walls are stacked in a stacker, from where they can be removed for packaging.
Stamped walls retain their elasticity even at low temperatures, and can be produced in very thin thicknesses if necessary.
The default size of the cells is 5.4 mm, according to a density of about 800 cells per dm2.
With a surcharge in the price, cells of any size between 4.8 mm and 6.5 mm can be prepared.
The patterned honeycombs are stretchy and won't break.
However, at high temperatures they can sag in the hive.
