The LYSON 500 liter professional honey ripener is designed to store, decant and transfer large quantities of honey in extraction rooms, packaging plants and professional beekeeping operations.
Its approximate capacity of 500 liters, equivalent to about 700 kg of honey , allows the production of several extractions to be gathered in a single tank, facilitating the natural decantation of air bubbles, wax particles and other impurities before filtering or packaging.
The tank is made of acid-resistant stainless steel , a durable, hygienic material suitable for contact with honey. The exterior surface has a mechanically polished finish that enhances its appearance and facilitates cleaning and maintenance.
The conical bottom directs the honey towards the outlet, allowing for more complete emptying than conventional flat-bottomed containers. This shape reduces the amount of honey retained inside and facilitates both transferring and cleaning after each use.
At the bottom, it incorporates a 2-inch stainless steel ball valve , sized for working with honey and allowing for quick and controlled discharge. The outlet has a fitting with an approximate outer diameter of 60 mm, ready to connect a compatible hose and transfer the honey to a pump, dispenser, filter, or other container.
The ripening tank comes with an integrated stainless steel stand , constructed from 3 mm thick sheet metal and reinforced with a cross-braced structure. This design provides a firm and stable base when the tank is fully loaded, eliminating the need for an additional support.
The height provided by the support leaves the area under the valve free, facilitating the placement of buckets, containers, hoses or pumping systems during emptying.
The stainless steel lid protects the honey from dust and other contaminants present in the extraction room. It is equipped with two handles that allow for easy removal and replacement during filling, inspection, or cleaning of the container.
