Brown type 5 polystyrene queen mating nuc.
Constructed of high-density, high-strength brown expanded polystyrene foam and 100% recyclable EPP.
It is stackable thanks to its four molded corner legs and recesses in the lid.
All hive parts are completely painted brown and require no painting as it is perfectly resistant to weather (humidity and UV rays).
Compatible with Apidea and Apidea parts.
The front part features a sliding element that regulates ventilation and allows the bee exit to the outside.
The bottom has another plastic element that can be removed when you want to fill the nucleus with bees or when you want to introduce a fertilized queen into an orphaned hive.
A queen excluder in the food chamber (with plenty of space) ensures that bees do not build in this space by separating the chamber from the feeding compartment.
Contains three plastic slats or frames for installing the wax seal.
The inlet has a flap closure and ventilation grilles, one at the bottom and one at the front.
