Mid-range type 1 single-frame Langstroth observation hive .
It is one of the langstroth frame bee hives with a wooden body, a frame in the brood chamber and a frame in the rear, we can observe both sides, with vents in base and side covers.
Made up of three parts (brood chamber, rear and cover), the hive can be mounted with or without the rear.
With this hive it is easy to control and see the development of the colony, the construction of the cells, the laying of the queen, the development of the larvae, the birth of the young bees.
We can also observe the displacement of the queen, the exchanges of food between the bees, the storage of pollen, the food reserves.
