Galvanized sheet metal entrance gate, 430 mm, for Langstroth or Dadant hives. Made of extra-quality galvanized steel with a rigid fold.
It has two positions: one reduces the entrance opening to 5 mm on one side, and the other side is for transport, with ventilation holes that also prevent condensation.
This 5 mm opening is designed for hive safety, as it reduces the opening and protects against potential predators, particularly the Asian hornet, which cannot pass through.

Note: The use of 5 or 5.5 mm high hive entrances is only recommended in the presence of Asian hornets. If there are no Asian hornets in your area, it is preferable to use standard entrances, which will slow down the movement and work of the bees less.
