It is a piece of deployed metal to put at the bottom of the hive for ventilation, it is usually placed perpendicular to the frames along the entire length of the bottom, it can be nailed by hand or with a stapler. Available in the following sizes:
-Length 400mm (10-frame langstroth or dadant hive).
-Length 420mm (10-frame layens hive).
-Length 500mm (12-frame layens hive).
-Other measures consult.

  • Material: Galvanized steel.
  • DL = Long Diagonal: 6mm.
  • DC = Short Diagonal: 4.5mm.
  • H = Thread or Rib: 0.5mm.
  • E = Sheet thickness: 0.6mm.
