It is a piece of deployed metal to put in the bottom of the cores for ventilation, it is usually placed perpendicular to the frames along the entire length of the bottom, it can be nailed with a stapler or by hand. Available in the following sizes:
-Length 215mm (5-frame langstroth or Dadant nucleus).
-Length 250mm (6 frame langstroth or Dadant nucleus).
-Length 275mm (core layens of 6 frames).
-Other measures consult.

  • Material: Galvanized steel.
  • DL = Long Diagonal: 6mm.
  • DC = Short Diagonal: 4.5mm.
  • H = Thread or Rib: 0.5mm.
  • E = Sheet thickness: 0.6mm.
  • Inscribed diameter: 3 to 3.1mm.
