Apifonda is a food for use in beekeeping used by European beekeepers for about 50 years and presented in paste in 2.5 kg bags and boxes of 5 bags.
It can be said that it is one of the oldest and best foods on the market.
The paste contains very fine crystals covered by a light film of dissolved sugars.
This film prevents the crystals from growing together or sticking together. For this reason, Apifonda is effortlessly assimilated by bees and absorbed by their pharynx.

It is a solid food paste with a spectrum of specific sugars for bees and its main component being sucrose.

Among the advantages of apifonda we can highlight:

• Ready to use bags.
• No need to add water while the bees can go out into the field.
• High purity and a good consistency that lasts over time.
• Easy extraction, absorption and assimilation by bees.
• A high "preferably consume" if it is stored in an appropriate place and temperature (never below 15ºC or more than 40ºC).

• Very good result for autumn-winter maintenance.

How is apifonda used?
Take a 2.5 kilo bag and make several cuts and put the hive on top of the squares. If it is a nucleus or the hive is weak, you can put half a bag.

For large beekeepers, associations and cooperatives, it can be supplied on a 800 kg pallet and on a 1000 kg pallet .

It is noteworthy that there is this piece of plastic that serves to use a bag of solid food as if it were a feeder. It is about opening a hole in a holster bag and putting on top of the tablex in the hole of the contratape.
