This fondant bee feed is suitable for colony maintenance, establishing new nucleus colonies, preparing colonies for winter and feeding during gaps between nectar flows. It can be used throughout the year in nucleus colonies and full-sized hives.

Apifonda® is a ready-to-use fondant bee feed made from different types of sugar. Its microfine sugar crystals are coated with a thin layer of syrup, allowing the bees to consume it easily.

One kilogram of Apifonda® provides approximately the same nutritional value as 0.92 kg of sugar. The product is supplied as a solid fondant in boxes containing 12 bags of 1 kg, with a total weight of 12 kg per box.

The sales unit is one pallet containing 768 bags, packed in 64 boxes with 12 bags of 1 kg in each box. The total pallet weight is 768 kg.

This plastic feeding adapter is also available. It allows a bag of solid bee feed to be used like a feeder. Simply make a small opening in the Apifonda® bag and place it over the crownboard feed hole, ensuring that both openings are correctly aligned.
