800 kg pallet of Ambrosia bee fondant, a feed for beekeeping that has been used by European beekeepers for many years. It is supplied as a fondant paste in 2.5 kg bags, packed in boxes containing five bags.
It is considered one of the oldest and best bee feeds on the market, together with Apifonda, for colony maintenance.
The fondant contains microfine sugar crystals coated with a thin film of syrup made from dissolved sugars. This syrup prevents the crystals from forming a crust.
The coating also prevents the crystals from growing together or sticking to one another. As a result, Ambrosia is readily accepted by the bees and easily taken up through their proboscis.
It is a solid bee fondant with a sugar profile specifically formulated for honey bees. Its main component is sucrose at 82%, together with glucose 5%, fructose 3%, maltose 1.8% and higher carbohydrates 8.2%. Dry matter: 90.7%, etc.

How is Ambrosia used?
Take a 2.5 kg bag, make several cuts in it and place it on top of the hive frames. For a nucleus colony or a weak colony, half a bag can be used by cutting it in half with a utility knife or similar tool.
