The arc stuns the velutina that dies trapped in the lower bottle and prevents the bees from being accidentally stunned as they exit through the lower slots.
This trap can be used all season and will hunt velutinas from February to October.
It is low maintenance and is shipped with assembly instructions for easy assembly by the beekeeper.
It is a double dry arc trap that can be electrified and kills only velutinas and not the rest of the smaller insects. In fact, it uses these insects as a lure to attract the velutinas, which are eliminated by the electric arc. .
