Pollen catcher hive protector against velutina

Ref: TAAV_008
24.80 €

Capolen and protective module for hives, that is, it protects against velutina and also serves as a pollen trap or pollen catcher.
Its great advantage is that it has two functions: it allows pollen to be collected, while at the same time protecting against attacks by Asian wasps.
The bee entrance grid, which acts as a pollen catcher, can be closed or opened (folding type). If we leave it open, it facilitates the assimilation of the new entrance to the hive and if we close it, we can start collecting pollen.
The pollen drop grid is longer than normal, which makes it easier to remove dirt from the hive without falling into the pollen tray.
It has two side holes used for the exit of the drones.
The roof is designed to protect the exit and the pollen from inclement weather.

The pollen basket slides on runners and once inserted all the way in, it is locked. The anti-beetle grid is also foldable, when it is lowered it allows the bees to enter and exit with much more peace of mind and so the wasp cannot attack the bees at the entrance and exit.
The pollen basket can hold up to 750 grams of pollen and is very well ventilated.
Made of 100% recyclable food grade plastic.
With steel guides for mounting, or it can be mounted on the base of the hive.
It should be noted again that both the pollen grid and the beetle grid are foldable and can be opened and closed.
