The wax that we remove from the solar or gas cerifier is not clean enough to use in a press or laminator.
One method to clean it is, for example, to put 20% of its volume of water in a pot and put 30 grams of oxalic acid per liter of water.
The rest of the pot is filled with wax and heated to 80 or 90ºC until all the wax is melted.
Then the mixture of wax and water must be filtered through a fine mesh type mosquito net in another container.
Then when the wax solidifies, in the passage of time from 6 to 8 hours, the wax will be completely clean on the upper part and on the lower part dirt and water will accumulate with oxalic acid.
The underside of the wax can be cleaned with a knife or spatula or even a pressure cleaner.
