It is also used to whiten wood and remove rust from metals and some tools and machines for beekeeping use.
Oxalic acid is a product of natural mineral origin in the form of an odorless and colorless powder.
Available in 1kg cans loose and in boxes of 12 units.

Applications:

Radiator cleaner for automobiles, general cleaning of metals, purifying agent and intermediate of many compounds, leather tanning, catalyst, laboratory reagent, textile bleaching, rare earth process, separating material for permanent test resins, printing and auxiliary of dyeing, in beekeeping disinfection of hive boxes or metal parts of the extraction room and also wax cleaning.

Cleaning of beeswax with oxalic acid:
The wax that we remove from the solar cleaner or gas cleaner is not clean enough to use in a press or laminator.
One method to clean it is, for example, to put 20% of its volume of water in a pot and put 30 grams of oxalic acid per liter of water.
The rest of the pot is filled with wax and heated to 80 or 90ºC until all the wax is melted.
Then the mixture of wax and water must be filtered through a fine mesh type mosquito net in another container.
Then when the wax solidifies, in the passage of time from 6 to 8 hours, the wax will be completely clean on the upper part and on the lower part dirt and water will accumulate with oxalic acid.
The underside of the wax can be cleaned with a knife or spatula or even a pressure cleaner.
Oxalic acid is soluble in water, but not soluble in wax, so most of the residues will accumulate on the bottom and in the water.

Danger:

Dangerous product. Harmful if swallowed or comes into contact with the skin. Causes serious eye damage. Always wear a mask, gloves and goggles.
