Professional gas oxalic acid vaporizer.

Ref: TACO_021B
195.00 € (IVA incl)

Gas oxalic acid vaporizer . Composed of a gas torch, the apparatus and the nozzle. With 12mm nozzle. It also has a small fan with a 9v battery, you can use oxalic acid in loose powder (1 gram) or with 1 gram pressed tablets. Gas bottle and battery included.

A tool that combines gas and air for optimal evaporation of oxalic acid, the gas torch nozzle allows evaporation. The steel outlet nozzle is to be inserted into the hive nozzle in each application. In the upper part there is a valve through which it can be filled with oxalic acid for the next treatment. The elongated design and low thermal conductivity of stainless steel prevent its heating and temperature control. Buttons for ignition of gas torch and fan.

Mode of operation:
For several years oxalic acid has been used with more or less success in beekeeping to combat the varroa mite.. This appliance is designed for the evaporation of oxalic acid with a commercial gas burner as a heat source. (torch included) The burner or commercial torch is attached to the Oxalic Acid Evaporator through a bracket located at the bottom of the duct. The preheat phase lasts about 1-2 minutes before the oxalic acid begins to evaporate. White smoke fills through the duct. The evaporation process varies depending on the dose of oxalic acid, on average 2-3 minutes. The air blower helps to flow the acid from evaporation. The filling of oxalic acid can be carried out through the upper valve, whereby the heating time is eliminated and therefore the treatment time per hive is shortened.

The oxalic acid used with this device must be Api-Bioxal type or similar that is allowed by current legislation.

Summary:
1 gram of oxalic acid is put into the top tube and the valve closes and thus falls into the interior. The gas burner starts and this causes the oxalic acid to heat up and evaporate. With the air fan we blow for 1 to 2 minutes in the hive.

Warning.

Oxalic acid applied sublimately is not allowed in Spain for the treatment of varroa, unlike Apivar, Apitraz, Apistan, etc.

Apícola los pedroches disclaims any responsibility for the improper use of this Device.

Before any use, we invite you to seek advice from your nearest beekeepers association or consult the legislation of your autonomous community or country.

The oxalic acid used with this device must be Api-Bioxal type or similar that is allowed by current legislation.
