The Happykeeper base allows considerable wear of Varroa, it can even limit or prevent its treatment.
The 3.5 mm space between the tubes does not allow the passage of bees but does allow the passage of debris and mites.
These spaces become the breathing holes in the hive with which the colony regulates its atmosphere.
Made of pine wood and valid for langstroth or dadant hive of Spanish measure of 43x51.5cm and thickness of hive 2.5cm.
