It is a small box made of plastic and inside which is a kind of brush that reduces varroa in a simple way when the bees pass through it without chemical treatments.
The varroa is detached from the bee and falls through the grid on the floor of the box to a tray, there are two models of trays, a small and a large one.
A count of varroa shed per day in the tray can easily be done.
With a number 5 Allen key, you can adjust the pitch of the bee between a maximum and a minimum.

The box once placed in the spout works for a long time, it only takes a little maintenance, cleaning and review to see the varroa that falls on the tray.
The box is designed for a 120-millimeter spout, for assembly you have to remove the sheet metal spout and mount the support and place the box with its tray.
The kit includes a plastic piece that screws to the hive and serves as a support for the varroa reducing box and for two plastic closing holes included in the kit, one blind and the other ventilated.
Valid for transhumance hives either layens, langstroth or dadant type of spout of Spanish design with 120x10mm slot and 140x40mm metal spout.
A hive can be fitted with a box or even two or three if the hive has several holes.
