The new Oxalika MINI Cordless Sprint is the ideal oxalic acid vaporizer for beekeepers who value practicality, performance, and complete freedom of movement.
Designed for use with pure oxalic acid, it allows for clean and efficient treatments, without cables or complications, ideal for beekeepers with 30 to 40 hives.
OXALIKA Mini Cordless (with spring-loaded plunger), with a rapid dosing system consisting of an adjustable spring-loaded plunger, is more compact, lightweight, and practical, designed especially for beekeepers with few hives.
The adjustment allows you to set the dose from 1 to 4 grams simply by turning the knob.
It stands out for being a cordless oxalic acid sublimator powered by an external battery (not included).
At the end of the treatment, remove the plunger, press it on the oxalic acid powder to insert it into the container, and press the knob. The acid falls and the sublimation begins. If treating with 2 grams of oxalic acid, the cycle is repeated after 25 seconds.
With use, the spring-loaded plunger becomes very hot, and suitable gloves are required.
The cordless battery-powered sublimator operates on 18-volt lithium-ion batteries (not included). It heats up in just 2 minutes and is ready for sublimation.

Compatible with 18V lithium-ion batteries (not included). The number of treatments that can be performed with a single battery depends on its capacity. It also works with low-capacity batteries (minimum 2Ah), with which it is possible to perform 7 to 10 treatments of 2 grams by heating the sublimator only once. With 5Ah batteries, approximately 40 cold treatments or 50 hot treatments can be performed.

Available with adapters that allow the use of different brands of 18-volt Li-Ion batteries (Dewalt, Bosch, Makita, Einhell, Parkside, etc.), which can be chosen depending on the battery used. In other words, the device is prepared with the chosen adapter to use with its battery of the same brand.
Battery and charger not included; they can be purchased at a specialized battery store, on the brands' websites, or at a hardware store.

Battery protection:
Both models incorporate a system that turns off the sublimator when it detects a low battery, protecting it from over-discharge (an over-discharged battery cannot be recharged and becomes unusable). A light indicates the battery status: it will turn green if the battery is charged and red when the battery is almost completely discharged and the device is about to shut off.

Interchangeable tube:
In just a few steps, you can replace the diffuser tube, choosing the one that best suits your treatment. With the straight tube, you can treat hives by making a hole in the back of the hive or in the back of the inverted hive cover. With the "S" curved tube, you can easily treat from the flight door. However, with the 90° curved tube, you can treat from above using the feeder hole. The tubes are made of high-resistance copper and are included with the sublimator.

Anchoring Support:
The anchoring support is included and improves the stability of the sublimator when handled from the flight opening.
Antichorodal aluminum boiler with accessible sublimation chamber and no internal obstructions (patent pending).
The aluminum ensures more even temperature distribution without the formation of "hot spots" and "cold spots." The accessible sublimation chamber allows for the thorough cleaning necessary to maintain the sublimator's effectiveness after numerous uses.

Insulated Boiler:
This makes the device resistant to low ambient temperatures and wind, thus contributing to battery savings.

Usage Tips:
It is advisable to isolate the queen during oxalic acid treatments.
The product cannot pass through the capped wax to the brood.
If there is a large amount of brood, the treatment will not be very effective; it should be done in the absence of brood.
Isolating the queen in a cage for a few days allows the hive to not breed and the queen to not become stressed.
Before using this device with oxalic acid, consider the risks to your health and that of your bees.
It is very important to be well equipped when handling oxalic acid because it is a toxic substance.
To avoid the risk of inhalation or skin contact, the beekeeper should wear a disposable suit in addition to the beekeeper suit, acid-safe gloves, appropriate masks, goggles, etc., and exercise extreme caution.

In some European countries (Spain, Italy, Hungary, France, United Kingdom, Austria, Slovenia, Portugal, Bulgaria, Croatia, Ireland, Norway, Romania), Api-Bioxal is the only oxalic acid authorized for sublimation.

Apibioxal contains excipients that do not evaporate and become embedded in the boiler of this device, so they must be cleaned with a brush between treatments, otherwise they will end up clogging.
