This beekeeping family integrates the different types of food for hives or food for bees existing in the Spanish beekeeping market.
With the arrival of the cold (normally between October to January depending on the area) it is advisable to feed with solid food if the hive does not have enough honey to spend the autumn-winter. Then with the arrival of spring or some time before (from February to March depending on the zone) before flowering it is advisable to feed with liquid or stimulant food in order to have the hive ready a few weeks before the strong flowering.
There are also pollen substitutes, recommended especially in times of lack of it, especially in the summer.
It should be noted that in winter it is not advisable to feed with liquid food since a lot of moisture is introduced into the hive and there are more disadvantages than advantages, especially if it is put in excess since being liquid they introduce it into the cells.
